Wow!WOW! I picked up one of these 'gourd' cheeses at your store a couple of days ago and am now a major fan. Your roasted garlic bread, garlic & basil pesto and the caciocavera made us a wonderful picnic. I'm ordering two fresh and two aged to share with our friends here in Missouri (and have some left just for us)! Thanks for a great product, Lovera....

excellent tasting cheeseThe caciocavallo cheese is an excellent tasting cheese but more than that it mirrows what the old timers made and carries forth a great tradition and cherished memoriies around the family dinners.

Worth Fighting Over!My husband was born & raised in McAlester. Whenever we would come to visit from out-of-state, we could never go home without visiting "Mikey's" [Lovera's] to pick up "gourde" [Caciocavera] cheese. Usually, it was two visits--one when we hit town & one on the way to the airport, since everyone would fight over the cheese, eat it all & we had none to take home unless we stopped on the way out of McAlester! Now, we can order it online & not have to fight over it!!!

Caciocavera ( gorde cheese to us)I have eaten this cheese ever since I was about 6 years old. I really love it. We use to fry it and it never changed shape. Fab. I love going to Krebs, Oklahoma. The taste has changed just a little bit but still verry good.

lover Lovera's cheese for three generationsThe caciocavera cheese is just the best! I remember eating this as a child, then after I married my husband and I would stop often when we would be near Krebs to get some cheese and the wonderful italian bread. We could make a meal of that alone! My kids enjoy it as much as we do. Our favorite is the Aged caciocavera. Have also enjoyed your other products. Promise you will never stop making your cheese!!!

A Family TraditionEver since I married into the Italian family, it has been a family tradition that whenever we go to Lovera's (which is not enough) we must pick up some of this fabulous cheese. We love the wonderful mild taste and of course, everyone fights over the "horn". Love Lovera's!!! Hey, you already have LOVE in your name!!!

Great CheeseThis is a wonderful cheese, I grew up with this being as I am from McAlester. I currently live in Florida, but every time I am there my grandmother makes sure this cheese is there and I always buy some to take home with me. The "skin" is hard and tasty and the center is smooth and creamy!! Its the bees knees!!

The Best Cheese!The caciovavera is excellent. There is really no commercial cheese like it with its mild flavor and perfect texture. Also, children love a slice of it alongside a small bowl of grapes for a nutritious, cool summer snack.

Happy Customer!I've been eating this cheese since I was a little kid. My parents buy it for my Christmas stocking. The aged version is my favorite. Since I live out of town, I often buy the fresh and then put it on wax paper on my counter for a few days before I enjoy it's awesomeness. . .that is when I can wait that long.

summertime favoriteI visited Krebs every summer to stay with my grandparents, and aunt and uncle. The Italian suasage and cheese were part of my summertime memories. When visiting my family would always pack an ice shest to take home. Now I have my children hooked on it and getting ready to hook my grandchildren.

Distinct shape, as well as taste!Most delicious cheese offered in the state! This cheese makes you wish to relocate to southern Italy! Thankful that the Kreb's Lovera family keeps the tradition available. Remember it for the shape, but best of all for the taste!

Very mild and well worth the price.I LOVE this cheese and the sasuage. My sister introduced me to it and I had to stop in Kreb's to get some. If you haven't tried it, you are missing a real treat. Very mild and well worth the price.

I have been buying this cheese for years.I have been buying this cheese for years. It has a great flavor. It is more flavorful served at room temperature. My parents used to buy this cheese when I was little from what was then known as Mike's Grocery in Krebs, OK. It does seem the cheese is not as flavorful as it was 4-5 years ago, but when it is served at room temperature the old flavor comes back.
