Imported Pecorino Romano - 3 lb

Our Pecorino Romano is produced in the Sardinia region of Italy. The taste is aromatic and pleasantly sharp. Pecorino Romano is most often used on pasta dishes. Its distinctive strong, very salty flavour means that it is preferred for some pasta dishes with highly-flavoured sauces. The sharpness depends on the period of maturation, which varies. Our imported Pecorino is aged approximately 8 - 12 months.

Sheep breeder LOVES this stuff!
We have raised sheep for over 40 years and search high and low for the best Pecorino Romano around. DiItalia has a fine example of this cheese. If you like sharp, salty bites of cheese for snacking as well as grating on spaghetti & pasta, this is the only one you should be using. Superb service here and shipping is handled carefully.

Imported Pecorino Romano
I recently bought your Imported Pecorino Romano 3 pound block. I was first amazed at how fast your shipping was to me. It has a great salty but not too salty taste to it with a wonderful sharpness. I have traveled extensively throughout Italy, Sicily, and Sardinia and this cheese compares with the best cheeses that I have had the pleasure to dine on in some of Italy's finest restaurants. I will be a continual buyer! Thanks for offering the great Italian items in the US. Keep up the great work! Thanks again, Robert Cadwallader

This is the best we have ever tasted!
We first tried this versatile romano cheese in the summer and were so amazed that romano could tasteTHIS amazing. We ate it on everything and in every way imaginable--in homemade pesto (so nice), in salads with tomatoes in and on pasta and with yummy bread and fruit. The 3 lb. block looked huge when we got it, but it was gone before we knew it, leaving us looking for more! Try it-you'll like it!!
