Addicted to this salamiI bought this first a few months ago and have found more ways to use it as time goes on. I mix small thin slices into my eggs with a little basil and olive oil then place on a toasted ciabatta. Incredible. I also use this instead of pepperoni on pizzas and have mixed with plain pasta. A little goes a long way. But somehow this house goes through 1lb a week plus. I give 4 stars just because there might be something better out there. But for the price this is probably a 5 star.

A little goes a long wayVolpi's Hot Sopressata is w/o question my favorite salami. There's so much flavor there, and enough red pepper to provide a nice warming sensation. Funny, but my favorite way to eat this very not Kosher salami is with good NY water bagels and Kosher half sour dill pickles. Another fine use is on sub sandwiches with other, less highly flavored meats such as turkey breast or top round roast beef. It doesn't take a lot of the sopressata to add big salami flavor to a sub.
