Heralded from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, Elsa Balsamic Vinegars are produced on the "Fondo Carrate" farm, one of the five farms on the Elsa estate, without the use of pesticides or herbicides of any kind. Organically grown and produced exclusively from ancient D.O.C. Lambrusco varieties of the Mastri, Salamino and Sorbara grapes. This cherished 12 year old Balsamic Vinegar is balanced, full-bodied, with aromatic undertones of cherries, oak and chestnut, and has a smooth velvety brown color. This is a perfect condiment that will flavor salads, grilled vegetables, grilled fish, meats, fruits and desserts.
