If you are looking for the best beans to make any soups this is the right bean to choose. Borlotti beans (also called cranberry beans in the USA) but the domestic version will never stand up to the Borlotti bean imported from Italy! This is the only site that has the the real deal. I have used other Borlotti beans and the skins are tough even after soaking overnight. Pasta fagioli needs this bean for the proper results. Buy them here and you won't be disappointed!!!
