The Figuli story begins at the Ristorante Albertini in Visnadello. For months, Guido and Graziella Albertini had been experimenting with new recipes for their house cracker — something light and crispy, yet flavorful. Out of that process the Tavolozze cracker was born. An instant hit with guests, the Albertinis soon realized that demand would outgrow their tiny restaurant. Thus, Figli SpA was born, with the mission to create delicious baked crackers for every palette.
There's more to this region than the snaking waterways and Byzantine mosaics of the capital -- Venetian cuisine is also a wealth of splendid surprises. From snackable cicchetti to savory rice and polenta, the food here is packed with flavor.
