The salami I purchased had an unusual flavor which I did not appreciate.
Still not sure

I was looking for a Volpi salami product I found at a deli counter when I lived outside Chicago, but I don't the type. I assumed it was Genoa, and thought this was a variant spelling.. It is good, but not quite as firm, chewy or flavorful as I remember. My refrigerator is small, so that cold be preventing the half pound size I tried from chilling, staying chilled, and getting firm enough.
I'll have some more

This is a great addition to any meat and cheese platter. Best when ice cold.
Simply the best

"Volpi Genova (some people call it Genoa) Salami is simply the best there is. This is what you would find in Italy. As already said, it's best served cold. Any of the 3 sizes offered here are the same and wonderfully delicious."
