In 1900, John Volpi arrived in America from his home in Milan, Italy. Longing for the vibrant tastes of his homeland, John founded Volpi foods in 1902. From his small storefront in St. Louis, John delivered authentic Italian cuisine to a new audience. Volpi Genoa Salami was what my Italian grandfather bought here in the states. Now that I cannot get it locally, I order that and prosciutto from D'Italia. The quality remains top-notch, and it ships quickly.

The taste was very good, but because of it's highre fat content then that of the milano salami, it wasn't dry enough, so the fat would become like globuals.
