I bought this chorizo for my brother who spent time in Argentia and he loved it. He said he had not had chorizo like that except in Argentia.

I absolutely love Paella and this American version of the Spanish Chorizo is very good. The flavors of the spanish paprika come out.. I'ts like I am sitting in Barcelona.

"Deep red with paprika and flavorful specs of oregano. The meat is soft and chewy with flecks of fat. It has a wonderful aged taste without being hard like some salamis. It was a robust addition to our lunch of marcona almond, manchengo cheese, crusty bread and spanish wine."

I used to bring back Spanish chorizo into the US years ago before it became available here. I lived there 4 years and loved all their styles of cured meat. Now Volpi makes an amazing 'homegrown' chorizo that rivals the best in Spain. You won't be disappointed!

To get a better chorizo you would have to travel to northern Spain......Excelente Sabor Autentico
Pork, salt, cane sugar, paprika, spices, garlic, natural flavorings, lactic acid starter culture. Stuffed in a collagen casing to be removed prior to eating.
