Producer: San Giuliano
In the early 1900s, the Manca family purchased a small oil mill in town of Alghero, starting a now century-old tradition of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Every San Giuliano olive oil is made with hand-selected, estate-grown olives and tested for taste and purity. This commitment to quality has earned the Mancas several national and international awards, as well as the trust of Italian families everywhere.
Situated in the Mediterranean sea, the picturesque island of Sardinia enjoys over 1200 miles of coastline and stunning mountain vistas. The island is also characterized by linguistic, cultural, and culinary traditions distinct from those of the mainland. The diet here is rich in beans of all sort -- including fava, lupine, and chickpeas -- and the wafer-thin traditional bread "carasu."
