Imported from Abruzzo, Italy, Verrigni has been producing traditional pasta since 1898. Many of the most celebrated chefs in Italy use and appreciate Verrigni becauses of its selection of the finest grains and its use of ancient techniques. Squid ink-flavored spaghetti is one of the centerpieces of their specialties.  The addition of squid ink to the Verrigni pasta makes it perfect for serving with seafood dishes, in particularly shell fish.  Squid ink is just what it sounds like -- the ink of the squid, and it adds both a sea tang and a deep black glow.

Antico Pastificio Rosetano was founded in 1898 by Luigi Verrigni, to supply pasta for the noble families of Rosburgo. Soon Mr. Verrigni's creations attracted attention from other regions of Italy, as the company became synonymous with innovate methods and superior quality. Today, the Verrigni family still makes all their pastas according to Luigi's oringinal methods, using premium ingredients of the Abruzzo region.
