Producer: San Giacomo
Acetaia San Giacomo is the loving project of Carlo and Carla Giacomo. In purchasing the estate, the Giacomos realized a personal dream: to marry their affection for the Emilia-Romagna region with their fondness for the smells and tastes of their childhood. Under their direction, the Acetaia now produces various traditional balsamic vinegars from home-grown Trebbiano grapes, each representing the highest levels of quality and care.
On the northern edge of the Apennines is the region of Emilia-Romagna. The region enjoys a rich and ancient history, accentuated by the vibrant capital city of Bologna. The spiritual home of parmesan cheese, prosciutto, and traditional aged balsamic vinegar, Emilia-Romagna is home to some of Italy's most treasured culinary traditions.
