(Anfosso) - 1.1 lbs

Croxetti are a special round pasta. They are traditionally served with basil a pesto or walnut sauce. The symbol traditionally embossed on them was a Crusader cross, which imitated a Genovese gold coin introduced around 1250 AD. Ligurian noble families would put their scudo (heraldic shield) on the croxetti instead of a cross, and another paragraph of Italian food history was written. Now croxetti are a proud symbol of Liguria Levante - that's the part from Genoa southeast to La Spezia province — and they deserve your attention. Since 1945, Anfosso has been producing traditional Western Ligurian specialities. Anfosso uses high quality raw materials in each of its products.
