In short time, the husband-and-wife duo gained a reputation for quality and care that now extends to a full line of delicious products. From antipasti to olives to pomodoro, Casina Rossa represents the best of Italian craft.

Region: Abruzzo

Flanked by the Apennine mountains to the west and the Adriatic Sea to the east, Abruzzo is known for its lush verdure, thriving tourist industry and mild climate. It's cuisine is known to be some of the most diverse in Italy, informed by the traditions of inland farming communities and coastal fishing villages. The result is a welcoming melange of tastes and smells that make Abruzzo truly unique.

I am normally not a big fan of infused oils but the reviews were so good I had to try this one. I'm glad I did. I used it last night with trout and dribbled some across the top and let it marinate for about 40 minutes before grilling. It was simply delightful. I'm looking forward to trying it on other dishes.
excellent in every way

"I don't usually use infused oils, but this oil is an excellent product. Drizzled on tomatoes with mozzarella and basil, heated with garlic to dress a warm pasta salad with grated pecorino Romano - this is winderfull."
