Peeled Tomatoes with Basil Leaf

(La Bella San Marzano) - 28 oz

La Bella San Marzano tomatoes are grown in the "agro nocerino", "the area for D.O.P. San Marzano Tomatoes", however, Viscardi La Bella San Marzano is an independent company that follows the regulations of the BRC Global Standard, which many consider to have a higher standard compared to the D.O.P. Here at Ditalia, whether it is D.O.P, BRC or any other regulation, the quality and value of a product is all relative to its taste and La Bella San Marzano is a great tasting plum peeled tomato.

This propitious setting allows for a deep knowledge of the surrounding environment, enabling a harvest that is sensitive to time, climate, and soil. Every La Bella tomato is picked at the peak of freshness to deliver maximum quality and unforgettable flavor.

The Campania region evokes images of ancient ruins and dramatic seaside views. The landscape is punctuated by the towering figure of Mt. Ruined my Ratatouille!
Jun 11, 2014  |  By Terence
I did not have fresh tomatoes to make my favorite Ratatouille so I decided to use this product I had just received. I tasted it and it was not good! A little sour and not very tomatoey. I didn't have anything else to use and I had already prepared the rest of the veggies, I added some sugar to it and that improved the taste but still did not like it. I had to use it use and my ratatouille turned out barely okay when it is usually outstanding! I have another can which I am going to throw away. I am very unhappy.

These tomatoes make a perfect sauce with just a little olive oil and Maldonado sea salt. They are fresh and delicious. the best canned tomatoes I have ever purchased.
