Shipping Options

When you place an order with DITALIA, the utmost care is given to each and every package of gourmet Italian specialties that we ship. We have proudly partnered with FedEx to provide our customers fast, affordable delivery of their Italian favorites to locations within the United States. More information about shipping charges and policies can be found below.


During the checkout process, you have the option to select a date to have your packaged SHIPPED, not DELIVERED. The date that you select in this option is the day that DITALIA will process and ship your order and NOT the day that your order will arrive. Please see our SHIPPING CHOICES below to select an appropriate day if you need your package to arrive on a specific date.


We have made shipping simple with Flat Rate Shipping for all shipping service levels. Shipping charges are per address. Orders that contain perishable items will follow our "Warm Month" shipping policy, which implements 2 Day Shipping for any order containing perishables. Some items like fresh sausage and soft cheeses are considered perishable all year round. Ship as many items as you like for a FLAT RATE to a single address in the 48 contiguous U.S. states.

  • $55 FLAT RATE Overnight Delivery: Guaranteed by the end of the next business day after shipped from DITALIA Warehouse


When shipping to the state of Hawaii or Alaska, your shipment will have to be shipped via 2 Day Delivery + $15.00 delivery surcharge. We understand that these charges are expensive, if you have any questions please give us a call toll free at 888-260-2192.


Currently we do not currently have the capability of shipping to PO Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses. Also, we do not ship to any areas outside the United States.


DITALIA strives to provide quick and efficient delivery to every customer. We truly pride ourselves on how quickly we process your order and ship it. All orders are typically processed and shipped with one business day, except during the two weeks leading up to Christmas. Orders containing cured and fresh meats, cheese, and/or chocolates placed after 2pm CST on a Wednesday may be held to ship the following Monday, if your sensitive items cannot be guaranteed to arrive by Saturday with your chosen delivery method. This policy may change based on high volume days or by product availability. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped out on the following business day, Monday

PERISHABLE ITEM SHIPPING (Warm Month Shipping Policy)

Many of the items that DITALIA offers are vacuum-sealed and kept at optimum storage conditions at our temperature controlled warehouse. During the warmer months (typically May - October), we will require 2 day shipping for any orders that contain fresh and cured meats, cheese, and/or chocolates. We will ship these items in an insulated cooler with ice packs. Unless otherwise notified by our customer, we will use our discretion to ensure that your shipment does not reside in a shipping carrier's warehouse over a weekend. This means that perishable orders made in the later days of the week may be held until Monday to guarantee the highest product quality upon delivery to your address.

We always recommend refrigerating food items for at least 12 – 16 hours upon receiving to ensure proper consistency and texture.


Unfortunately, we do not accept orders for Canada on our website. Therefore, these orders must be placed and confirmed with a DITALIA representative. The charges are typically very expensive. Please contact Customer Support at 888-260-2192.


Please take the time to ensure the address of the recipient before submitting your online order. In the case of an incorrect address, we will work with the customer to ensure that the proper recipient receives the order. If it is found that the address misdirection by an initial order entry mistake, then the customer will take full responsibility for the cost of re-shipping a package that was sent to an invalid address.
