SHIPPING

When we pack your order, we do it with pride and care. We ship all of our non-perishable items with an environmentally friendly green paper wrap. That's right! No bubble wrap or packing peanuts. Any order that contains perishables, especially during warm weather months, your package will arrive in a cooler with ice packs to insure freshness and quality. Please use the information below to review our shipping policies.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping charges calculated per ship-to address and are based on the total cost of your order, as illustrated below.




EVERYDAY FREE STANDARD SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $99

If your order is over $99 (per ship-to address, Continental US), your order qualifies for Free Standard Shipping. If your order is less than $99 (per ship-to address, Continental US), your order will follow the chart above.

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

We do not ship outside of the USA. If you are shipping to an Alaska and Hawaii address, Two Day Delivery is required and an additional $10 fee will be added to normal shipping rates. Your package will arrive in 2 business days from the day your order is picked up at our facility.

During the warmer months, we do not allow Standard Shipping to be selected for items that require refrigeration. These items must be shipped in a cooler with ice packs and be delivered within 2 business days. Although your order might be over $99, Free Standard Shipping will not apply at checkout if your order contains any item that may be sensitive to warm temperatures (e.g. chocolate, salume, cheese, etc.). This also applies to items that require special care and delivery all year long. We may hold and ship your order the following Monday, if your sensitive items cannot be guaranteed to arrive by Saturday with your chosen delivery method. This policy may change based on high volume days or by product availability. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be shipped on the following business day. It typically takes us one business day to fulfill your order (delivery time starts once your package is picked up at our facility, not when your order is submitted).

LOCAL PICKUP AT DITALIA WAREHOUSE

DITALIA is proudly located in the revitalized neighborhood in St. Louis, MO called "The Grove." Although we do not have a physical storefront, we welcome customers to pickup orders placed online or telephone. Please designate in the comments section during check out, the date and time you would like to pickup your order. Requested Ship Date
During the checkout process, you have the option to specify a future shipment date. This is when DITALIA will ship your package, not the date it will be delivered. If you need your package to arrive on a specific date, please call us at 888.260.2192 for assistance.

Delivery Guarantee
We can only give a delivery guarantee based on the ship-to address that you enter in the shopping cart. Our online shopping cart captures information exactly as you enter it. Please review the ship-to address before completing your order.

PO Box
Unfortunately, we do not ship to PO Box addresses.

Shipping Times - Order Processing
We pride ourselves in processing and shipping orders as quickly as possible. Orders are typically processed and shipped within one business day.

FedEx will deliver your package
We have proudly partnered with FedEx to provide our customers fast, affordable delivery of our scrumptuous Italian bites to locations within the United States.

Incorrect Addresses, Claims and Exceptions
Please be sure to verify the correct address information has been entered before checking out. An exception fee of $25 will be assessed if an address correction and/or shipment re-route is requested after the package has left DITALIA warehouse.

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Contact Customer Service within a reasonable amount of time of order receipt if you wish to file a claim. All packages are monitored closely to ensure speedy delivery. However, DITALIA cannot be responsible for damaged or spoiled product due to the following:

  • Incorrect Address - Please verify any apartment, suite, floor numbers with recipient before completing your order.
  • Weather Delay or "Natural Disasters" - Extended transit time may be needed.
  • Shipments Not Opened immediately - If this is a gift to be given at a later date, we encourage you to inspect the contents of the package upon receipt.
  • Out of town or otherwise - Orders sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable at the time of initial delivery attempt. Please notify the recipient of the pending arrival of a perishable delivery.
