NOT made in ItalyEven though the description reads, "From the far south of Italy, where the ancient Greek influence is most apparent comes this spicy garlic-rich salame." this product is made in the U.S., not in southern Italy. It's tasty stuff, and may well be made following old-world traditions, but it is not a true Italian product and that's a little annoying, frankly. The ad copy should state clearly this doesn't originate in Italy.

VERY IMPRESSEDThis product is bold and spicy with wonderful overtones of garlic. The texture is hearty, making it one of my new favorites. I will not hesitate to order more in the future. It's great cooked in sauces or simply sliced.

Red peppery goodness! This spicy salami is outrageously delicious and in a totally different league than any other attempts to produce authetnic Calabrese salami domestically that I know. Some people don't like salami to be this spicy, however, so it's best served alongside milder fare.
