Founded by Cecilia Tessieri, Amedei is committed to making the world's best, single-origin chocolates. Tessieri, the first female Master Chocolatier, travels the world, meeting producers of rare cocoa bean varietals. In Amedei's workshop in Tuscany, Tessieri crafts chocolate bars inspired by the character of each bean and its land of origin.
The Tuscan reputation for fine cuisine is well deserved. In addition to stunning renaissance art and architecture, beautiful rolling landscapes and coastal retreats, this fertile region of central Italy is also home to some of the country's best wine, olives, fresh vegetables and savory meats.
