- Producer + Region
The Rega agricultural cooperative was born in 1987 in Striano, Italy. Following the trailblazing example of the Rega family, the cooperative committed to producing San Marzano tomatoes that would exhibit the exceptional qualities of the land. Situated near the foothills of Mount Vesuvius, the area benefits from tremendous soil fertility — a quality that grants each Rega tomato the full, juicy flavor that has become their trademark.
The Campania region evokes images of ancient ruins and dramatic seaside views. The landscape is punctuated by the towering figure of Mt. Vesuvius, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and scenic capital of Naples. Famous for its Neapolitan pizza, Campania is widely known for its fresh vegetables, pasta, and cheeses.
