When will my order ship?
Submit your order by 2pm CST Monday through Friday and your order will typically be shipped out the same day. Orders that contain special care products typically only ship from our facility Monday – Wednesday. (except during the colder months). This is to ensure that your order doesn’t sit in a carrier warehouse over a weekend.
During the holiday peak season, shipping times may be delayed. We will process your order as quickly as possible.
What is the cost of shipping?
Orders over $129 qualify for FREE Standard Shipping for eligible items only (ineligible items and special care items do not qualify for free shipping). Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for Free Shipping.

Orders over $129 qualify for Free Standard Shipping for eligible items only. If your order contains a special care item and is over $129, a flat charge of $10 will apply to your order. Free Standard Shipping doesn’t apply to non-eligible items (large cans or heavy bags of flour). FedEx Priority Overnight and UPS Next Day Air shipping options are available as well (shipping cost is calculated with live rates from these carriers).
Orders under $129 will be presented with shipping options from FedEx and UPS. You choose your preferred carrier and shipping method. Shipping cost is calculated with live rates from these carriers. Additional charges will apply for special care and non-eligible products.

Orders over $129 qualify for Free Standard Shipping for eligible items only. If your order contains a special care item, you have the option to select either FedEx or UPS Expedited Shipping Methods to accommodate the proper packaging and safe arrival for these items. Free Standard Shipping doesn’t apply to non-eligible items (large cans or heavy bags of flour). The shipping rate is calculated based on the weight of the special care and/or non-eligible items in your order. Please note that your order may arrive in multiple boxes. Special care items may arrive sooner than your nonperishable items.

Alaska and Hawaii
All orders regardless of the order total will calculate the shipping cost based on the weight of the package and destination address. Alaska and Hawaii will only be able to select 2 Day or Overnight Shipping Methods from FedEx and UPS. Free Standard Shipping is not available for Zone 3.
FAQ ABOUT SHIPPING
My order is over $129, why am I being charged shipping?
If your order contains a perishable (special care) or ineligible product, then your order doesn’t qualify for Free Standard Shipping. If your order contains more than $129 in eligible items and includes a perishable (special care) or ineligible product, you are only charged shipping for those item/s. All orders that have more than $129 in eligible items will receive Free Shipping on these items only.
Why do I have to pay additional shipping charges for perishable (special care) items and non-eligible items?
To guarantee that your order arrives in optimal condition, we pack your order with thermal protection and ice packs. During the warmest months of the year (typically April through September), we do not recommend taking the chance to ship these types of items without additional care and packaging. Our policy for these items is more relaxed during October through March. Some items that are special care during the warmer months are not necessarily special care during the colder months of the year.
Can I choose a date for my order to arrive?
No. But you can select the day you would like us to ship your order from our facility. During checkout, our calendar allows you to pick a date you'd like for us to ship your order. Follow the Zone chart to determine how long your order will be in transit from the day it ships to determine the best option for selecting your specific ship date.
Is a signature required for delivery?
Our carriers are authorized to use their discretion to leave your package at the recipient's address without a signature.
Does Ditalia deliver to Po Box addresses?
We do not ship packages to po box addresses as a generally policy, because orders that may contain perishable special care items are not able to be deliver to a po box address. If all you have is a po box address for the recipient, please give us a call at 314-534-6207 or email us at support@ditalia.com for a specific request.
Does Ditalia ship outside of the USA?
We do not ship outside of the 50 USA states.
Can I pick up my order at Ditalia?
We offer curbside pickup at our warehouse for free. Our warehouse is located in the popular Forest Park Southeast Neighborhood in the Grove at 1401 South Boyle Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63110.
When checking out online, you will have the option to select “pick up at Ditalia”.
