In 1904, Antonio Mancini left his home in Italy and moved to America. He carried with him an entrepreneurial spirit and veneration for the traditions of his homeland, qualities that would lead him to found his own Italian grocery store in 1922. From his store Antonio supplied his New England neighbors with traditional products of the homeland — fresh olives, hand-formed macaroni, and his personal favorite, sweet roasted peppers. Today, the Mancini Packing Company is proud to continue Antonio's love affair with Italian cuisine, and pass his recipes down to a new generation.
