It all started with one taste of the tomato passata that is made from a very unique tomato variety called Siccagno. We were hooked and then fell in love with the family behind all of the incredible fruits and vegetables from the Tudia that solely are used in the production.
About the Producer
In the heart of the Madonie mountains, Tudia tells the tale of tradition and taste. Since 1965, their family farm has embraced the essence of rural Sicily, crafting products with passion and authenticity. Using traditional agricultural methods on potassium-rich soil, Tudia produces exquisite Siccagno tomatoes, known for their rich pulp and sweet flavor. Their team, primarily composed of dedicated women, preserves the art of old Sicilian recipes, creating ready-to-eat meals that echo the flavors of Sunday dinners at Grandma's. Tudia embodies the soul of Sicily, delivering genuine, heartfelt cuisine.
