stephanie M. (5/5)

Delicious

"I was surprised at how good and how versatile these figs are. Two of them are good as a light dessert, or just one as an accompaniment to a sharp cheese or cut up with a banana as a compote. And some of the leftover wine syrup is good on ice cream as well. Very rich, sweet but not too sweet, with a pleasant earthy headiness from the Barolo wine."
