These crisp, crunchy, twice-baked cookies are a Tuscan specialty. For the authentic experience, dip cantucci in sweet vin santo wine. Or perk up your breakfast routine with some cantucci and orange juice!

The Tuscan reputation for fine cuisine is well deserved. In addition to stunning renaissance art and architecture, beautiful rolling landscapes and coastal retreats, this fertile region of central Italy is also home to some of the country's best wine, olives, fresh vegetables and savory meats.

Giovanni Marini first began baking pastries with his grandmother in their small family home outside of Buonconvento, Siena. As he grew, "Nanni" became entranced by the craft of pastry-making, and it developed into a lifelong passion. Together with his wife Floriana, he opened the Bottega del Pane di Giovanni Marini, which today has grown into one of the most beloved pastry shops in Siena. Le dolcezze di Nanni is proud to carry on this legacy, baking sweet, flaky pastries for sweet lovers the world over.
